Welcome to the latest issue of the Hemilingo Newsletter! In this edition, we bring you the newest updates, tutorials, and much more to help you on your coding journey. You can't miss out on one second of it or you might get lost in time!
Features
I'm glad to introduce you to the biggest update in Hemilingo history; going from interactless lessons, to fully interactive lessons! Don't expect an overnight transformation like many updates so far, this one may take up to 6 months! Here's what's to expect:
- Coding in Lessons: So far, I have felt you can't actually learn from Hemilingo. It's just far too simple. I give the user an article, they (hopefully) read it, and they take a quiz. That's not enough for me, to truly understand what's going on, I believe you should have to write code that meets a requirement.
- Personalized Learning: To make Hemilingo fun, I will add personallized learning tracks. You can choose what path you want to take based off the lessons you do or have done. This won't let you skip to the last courses when you can't complete the beginner lessons, that way you know you're learning!
- Simpler Lessons: The current lessons in Hemilingo take huge jumps, leaving a lot out (Going from total newbie to OOP master in 6 lessons is impossible!). That's why with this update, each lesson will be shorter, simpler, and much more interactive. They will be quick 5-minute lessons with more interaction than ever before!
- Coding Challenges: Test your coding skill against the weekly coding challnege! Can you make Python print a 2048 board? Find out in the next update!
If that doesn't sound awesome, I'm not sure what to tell you. Trust me, this update will be beyond your wildest dreams! Hemilingo will go from a place to refresh your memory, to a place where you can learn. I mean l e a r n . . .
There is one major issue with this system. That is, there is no easy way to implent Pygame and PyTorch into a Python interpreter. I'm not sure how I'll get around that wall yet, but it's all a work in progress!
That isn't the only new thing coming to Hemilingo, you also have an app planner to use soon! It's simple, but it can never hurt to do a bit of planning.
